What is a Home Warranty???

It is a home protection plan, typically renewable in 1 year intervals.  It is a service contract that offers coverage for repair and/or replacement of many of your household appliances and home systems depending on the coverage plan you select.  They offer a varitey of plans, most including a minimal service call fee to the homeowner.  The Pearland Home Team always encourages our Seller’s to implement Seller Home Warranty Coverage with a Home Warranty Company of their choice as an added protection to them throughout their listing, and often times prove useful when negotiating for repairs with Buyer’s.

When representing Buyer’s The Pearland Home Team always recommends our clients to obtain at minimum a 1 year Home Warranty either at the Seller or Buyer’s expense as an additional protection to them and to help offset any unexpected cost in the first year of home ownership.
